DIY All-Natural Dog Toothpaste with Peppermint Essential Oil


Our fur children love to give us kisses but when their breath reeks, I don’t want that slobber anywhere near me! But what is actually in that dog toothpaste? Lots of things I can’t pronounce. So should my spoiled rotten dog be consuming it? Probs not. Enter in… this simple, 3-ingredient recipe. Let’s get those chompers nice and sparkly clean naturally! Here’s what you need:

DIY Dog Toothpaste:

+ 4 oz. Mason Jar

+ 1/4 c. Organic Coconut Oil

+ 1/4 c. Baking Soda (NOT powder! Powder has aluminum in it. No bueno.)

+ 5-6 drops of YL Peppermint oil (for that minty fresh breath)

+ Optional: 3-4 drops of YL Orange oil (supports healthy bones and naturally whitens)

To use:

Mix all ingredients together in your mason jar and apply a bit on your doggy toothbrush (we like the 3-sided ones). Scrub those chompers.

No need to rinse. They can consume these three natural ingredients.
